Naia Burucoa’s work focuses on the way images develop meaning. She was born in the Basque Country and studied audiovisual techniques, photography and documentary filmmaking in Paris and Buenos Aires. 

Part of Cuntscollective, she works as visual artist and videomaker. She is currently based in Basque country and works as light designer and technician for performances, mainly for the music and dance collective Bilaka. Beside that, she is singer and composer of the electronic music duo Gauak and is monthly speaker for the radio Euskal Irratiak.
